Communicate Influence is an online magazine for people in marketing, journalism, and communications. It’s aim is to help these individuals by giving important insights, creative approaches to challenges, strategies and tactics, and so much more!
Why this audience? There’s a synergy between marketing, journalism and communications, with individuals moving between these specialist areas of work more than ever before.
While it’s true that journalists and communications pros have crossed in and out of each other’s fields for decades now, fluidity within creative fields is greater than ever. For example, today’s marketers often have to work as content writers and comms people are expected to know a lot more than just communications planning and media release writing. Journalists are keen to exploit their skill sets and take advantage of new opportunities as the decline in print and some broadcast media continues.
In addition, so many people who once worked 8 to 5 in marketing, journalism or communications are becoming self-employed. Some are solopreneurs, a few set up successful agencies, while others work collaboratively on a project-to-project basis. Whatever the setup, creative people are suddenly running start-up businesses and are hungry for guidance and relevant information.
We aim to uncover how successful creatives approach their work and reveal the influences that shape their thinking. We look at emerging trends and explore excellence and best practices. Sometimes, we’ll interview people about the less obvious connections that shape creative work.
All our interviews are exclusive. We speak to sought-after experts who are thought leaders in their fields. Our interviewees are carefully selected and thoroughly researched.
